Emirates Cricket Board reiterates approval channels of all cricket activities within the UAE

All cricket activities, which include tournaments, private academies or other cricket events require the final approval of the Emirates Cricket Board.

Abu Dhabi, UAE, September 7th 2015 : The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) is the governing body for all cricket activities in the UAE as authorised by the Ministry of Youth and Sport Welfare. The ECB is also an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and is required by the ICC to approve all cricket in the UAE.

All cricket activities, which include tournaments, private academies or other cricket events require the approval of the Emirates Cricket Board, which will normally only be granted if this has first been approved by the relevant Regional Cricket Council in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah or Ajman.

Teams, players or officials taking part in activities that have not been approved by a Regional Council or the ECB may not be permitted to take part in other officially sanctioned activities in the future.
